Top Bridal Bouquet Picks for Your Wedding
Way back in ancient times, a bride carrying a bouquet of fragrant flowers and spices was a way of ensuring her sweet smell on her wedding day. In some cultures, carrying a bouquet was a way of warding off evil spirits. The tradition has carried on to present day where brides continue to carry flowers to varying degrees; not to cover up any unwanted odours like in the past, but to further adorn her look with her favourite flowers as she walks down the aisle to the love of her life. Bridal bouquets come in a very wide assortment of colours, sizes and shapes. Choosing flowers whether a single stem or a full display is one of the joys a bride-to-be has in preparing for her wedding.
I have a number of weddings to attend this year and I am excited to see the current bridal choices for flowers and bouquets. I guess it’s the gardener and event planner in me that finds it fascinating and inspiring to see what their personal likes are and maybe get inspired for future blogs, events (centrepieces/decor) and even what to plant in my own gardens. While completely a personal choice and preference for each bride, there are certainly bouquet styles that seem to be trending with brides everywhere.
I am loving every one of the bouquets that seem to be catching the eyes of brides today. Whether soft romantic neutrals, tropical stunner or another favourite, the bouquet of your choice will be remembered for years to come as your personal touch harmonizing with your gown as you walked down the aisle.
Have a great day from Eventastic Weddings!
